Velocity and Stitch expand global partnership to advance evidence-driven patient engagement

Today, we’re excited to announce that Velocity Clinical Research, the world's largest organization of fully-owned and integrated clinical research sites, is deepening its partnership with Stitch, the patient engagement platform built specifically for research sites. Under the multi-year agreement, the two organizations will collaborate closely on new product features and test novel approaches to patient engagement, retention, and site performance, with Stitch expanding across all of Velocity's sites in the United States and Europe as the shared foundation for managing patient engagement and site team collaboration with participants.

A subset of Velocity sites have already been using Stitch for a year, allowing direct comparison across protocols and locations at scale; Stitch supported over 25,000 participants through more than 90,000 scheduled visits. More than 87% of participants used Stitch, completing over 17,000 feedback surveys.

Velocity and Stitch also undertook a thorough joint analysis to isolate Stitch’s impact on screening attendance. The analysis found that across all studies and therapeutic areas, Stitch reduced no-show rates by approximately 9 percentage points, equivalent to more than a 20% increase in screening attendance.

Deployment across the network is only one part of the partnership. Velocity will bring its scale, site expertise and operational data, while Stitch will bring its technology and product expertise. Together, they will develop new ways to improve patient engagement, retention and site performance, test them across Velocity’s network and share the results with the industry.
